David DeKriek, Au.D. has been helping people hear better in Los Angeles County for more than 20 years. Before opening Fidelity Hearing Center, Dr. Dekriek gained experience in a wide range of medical environments .
While some hearing care professionals may only have a high school diploma, Dr. DeKriek has earned his Doctor of Audiology and has been awarded his Board Certification in Audiology. Some people aren't sure about the differences between hearing aid dispensers and Audiologists. In general, Audiologists (and in particular, Doctors of Audiology) have an advanced degree (masters or doctorate), while dispensers in California only need to have a high school diploma and no formal education in hearing.

He is a member of the Cerritos Optimist Club and serves as professional adviser to the Hearing Loss Association of America, Long Beach/ Lakewood chapter.
